After a very long time, maybe a couple of years now, we’ve been able to build a 1:1 scale that stands 20 inches tall. Martian head based on preliminary casts from multiple sources for reference.
Each bust is painstakingly hand crafted in durable resin and filled with hardened marine quality foam, then hand painted to provide an accurate realistic Martian head-neck, and shoulders.
Allow 2 weeks as they are placed into production at time of order. Unpainted busts are also available upon request.
The bust was made in the same style as those that were made by the studio of model makers Ian Mackinnon and Peter Saunders for the stop action scenes in the movie and sat on Tim Burtons desk before the producers decided not to do stop-action and go full CGI.
