Human Shrunken Head (Tsantsa)

Our fine collection featuring shrunken heads of questionable origin will no doubt delight aficionados of exotic collectibles. Created by highly skilled experienced shrunken head craftsmen of questionable immigration status. We don't question their legal status for obvious reasons. Very realistic in every detail, these tsantsa shrunken heads are similar to those crafted by the Jivaro tribes from days past, featuring fine skin and ear details not found on other reproductions. The skin colours vary from one to another but for the most part are dark. The head featured on our site is medium brown as it photographs the best. It is possible to request a variety of skin tones...from light brown to dark brown. African styled hair is available, however, most head hunting tribes were from South America and south pacific polynesian islands.

All heads will have straight black hair unless otherwise requested.

Each head measures about the size of a naval orange or mans fist. The heads are made of thin resin and then filled with foam to allow the insertion of a wood dowel for display.

Once displayed in a bell jar or similar enclosure, the presentation will be further enhanced.
